Trend reclame & advies is a full service advertisement-/advice agency, founded in 1984 as a sales promotion and direct marketing agency. Much has changed since, according to owner and director Karel de Koning. We support companies with their (online) communication. We are more and more often operating as a partner, instead of a supplier. The result for our clients is the main focus.

1) What was your initial question? What did you urgently need?

The market that we operate in has changed tremendously in recent years, the combined effect of these changes with the crisis has influenced our revenue model. We were looking for a partner that could help us with those changes. Luckily for us, we found H&P.

2) How did Hermans & Partners organize this?

Very resolute! They looked at my situation and instead of only reflecting the past, they also constructed a hands on plan for the future. It was a little confronting at times, but it was something that I needed. Honest and no-nonsense, it fits with the way I run my company.

3) What was the result and what did you notice, some pros and cons?

Now, two years later, I can proudly say that I run a financially healthy company. I have more insight into my business results and are much more conscious of many financial aspects. I am convinced that this is a necessity. It has not been easy to implement all the advice given by H&P, but I am very happy that I have done so. Their expectations really became reality.

4) What would you recommend fellow entrepreneurs?

Do not wait with taking action if you feel like you are slowly losing control. My previous accountant was very reflective and not outspoken about the future, so I did not obtain much advice. H&P is the total opposite. They analyse and give future oriented advice and are not scared to think of something new. My advice: if you are in doubt about something, have a coffee at H&P, I guarantee you that it will be beneficial.
